Jackson Hole

Top of the Bridger Gondola!

Relaxing during our Jackson trip

Downtown Jackson

Marin and Matt on the Alpine Slide

Jace and Matt on the Alpine Slide
Two lil' buds!
This weekend we hit Jackson Hole with some fun friends! The Daw's, the Cannon's, the Manwaring's and the Bruderer's. We had a blast. We rode the Bridger Gondola almost 3,000 feet up and had lunch on what seemed like the top of the world! We even got to see a wedding right outside our restaurant. Then we headed over to the Alpine slides where Marin and Jace and Matt came screeching down the mountain. On the lift going up to the slide, Marin had some excitement. She lost her flip-flop! But Matt was able to climb half way up the mountain to retrieve it. We had great food (ending the day at Bubba's BBQ- I think that might becoming a tradition!), saw a cowboy musical in the town square and just had a lot of fun. The weather was perfect. Jackson Hole is definitely a beautiful place we hope to visit often!

Visitors...

We love visitors and this past week we have been spoiled! Aunt Tracy who has been doing a study abroad in French Guiana for the last 6 months just returned home and came up for a visit, which we loved!! Then Thursday we went swimming at Ross Park where we met up with Matt's sister Amy and her two girls, Graycee and Ayva who are in town visiting from Florida! It was a great week! Friday we went up to the new pier in Idaho Falls, which just happend to be one of Mateo's projects! While there the kids indulged in some flower sniffing... then we went over by the temple and fed the ducks, which is always a crowd pleaser for those under 10~
Saturday we went 4-wheeling and what a blast that was! Somehow the big dirt hills magically disapeared at Rose Pond where we like to go, but it was still fun zipping and zooming around!
We LOVE our family and all the time we get to spend with them!!!!!!!

Happy 4th of July!

For the 4th we headed on down to Utah and spent the night at Grandma Montano's! It was so much fun! Matt's sister Amy and her girls Graycee and Ayva were here from Florida and it was such a blast! Grandma also just got her yard in so it was great to see. We hit the North Ogden Cherry Day's parade where before hand, Aunt Holly got the priviledge of french braiding 6 of the girl cousin's hair!! In the parade we got to see cousin Dakota and she threw us lots of candy and then did backhand springs down the road!! After the parade we all headed to Aunt Leisel's where we had a yummy BBQ and got to swim the entire afternoon away!! No swimming party is complete with out someone getting thrown in- clothes and shoes and all- and that lucky person this year got to be Leisel! We then set off fireworks and watched North Ogden cities and it was great! We love our family and love spending time with all of them!!
