Spring Break...

For Spring Break we packed everyone up and headed to Seattle, WA for a day and a half of fun and then went on to Portland, OR to visit my sister Teresa and her husband Josh who are expecting twins in about 6-8 more weeks. We were in Portland a year and a half ago and couldn't wait to get back. It's such a fun and beautiful place...

Stopping in Twin Falls for the first of many (oh sooooo many) potty breaks...

We got to Seattle Thursday afternoon and headed straight out into the city..

Parking is such a pain in this city, we left our car at the hotel and walked EVERYWHERE... and yet I still managed to gain weight on this trip!

Space Needle here we come...

Then we had dinner at a great little pizza joint called Zeeks. It was delicious and they knew how to please a crowd!!! :) They gave the kids pizza dough to play with!

Then we went back to see the Space Needle at night, and that was even better than during the day!!!

OK, we saw so much, the pics kind of just speak for themselves...

Those are real star fish and other aquatic creatures...

Those are real jellyfish in there...

This was not a real octopus... the real one was across the way!

Wasn't this mural just amazing?

Just had to show you, our hotel was at the waterfront (aka bottom of the BIG hill) and everything we wanted to see was at the top!! :)

Teaching them young about the music that influenced their parents...

Learning all about Pearl Jam, Nirvana and the grunge scene in the '90's. Can you believe it? They have a museum all about the 1990's music scene, like it was so long ago... I hate getting old!!!!

The Avatar exhibit... (Jace thought we were going to watch the movie, so he was a little disappointed!!)

SEATTLE! We were in the Pacific Northwest for 4 whole days and did not see a DROP of rain!! We had gorgeous weather the entire time!

This is how this little girl spent most of her trip. Strapped in her carseat in the stroller and she was an angel!! She ate, burped and changed on the go. Way to go Sevy, this trip was only doable because of how good you were!

That would be crab crab crab and muscles and clams... just poured right out on the table infront of you with a wooden mallet and board... can't get any fresher seafood than this Seattle!!!

Waiting for lunch, that's Jace's way of saying he'd prefer a pop and not water with his burger...

Getting in some reading while we wait for donuts...

This place was so fun, they have a bacon topped maple nut donut which is to die for and they are known for their donuts that look like the picture here, only when you bite into it, strawberry filling gushes out... it's awesome!

You would be this happy too if you waited in line for 45 mins just for a donut!!

Uncle Josh bonding with his newest niece....
Macey loves to pick flowers and she picked all of Aunt Teresa and Uncle Josh's flowers...

Planting strawberries in the back yard...

Making pasta with Uncle Josh and Aunt Teresa... the kids had a blast making and eating it!!

Coloring Easter Eggs AFTER church on Sunday... little unconventional but it all worked out!

Happy Easter! The kids were so glad the Easter Bunny was able to find them all the way in Portland!

Multanohma Falls...
Quick stop on our 11 hour drive for home!! We loved seeing Seattle and we love visiting our family in Portland. This is definitely a trip we will have to keep doing, it's so much fun!!!
