Ice Fishing...

Friday Grandpa Rice and Matt took Marin and Jace fishing with some friends from Logan. They came home sunburned, tired and so happy!! They had a lot of fun!!

Macey refused to take a nap, she was so tired that after 5 seconds in her daddy's arms after he got home from work, she was out!

While Grandma Montano was here visiting she got Macey a saucer that this little miss has just absolutly loved!

10 Things that Bug me (at the moment!)...

1- People not doing what they say, is there anything more frustrating?

2- Negativity/despair about our country's current economic/political situtaion... we will survive, just get your houses in order!

3- Siblings who think it's fun to act/talk like babies ALL THE TIME...

4- Trying to find the right house in the right place with the right price!

5- People texting while out to dinner with friends or a spouse... please!

6- Just how electronic kids are today... phones, ipods, computers, games, everything...

7- Bad hair days, which seem to turn into weeks and then months!

8- Not recording the end of The Office after the Super Bowl.... BUG!

9- Winter... I'm ready for sun, fun and that means summer!

10- People who speak rudely to and about their kids... (I can't even say enough of about this, espeically the episode I just saw at the store, so don't get me started!)

Last Visits...

Well, before my sister and her two kids head back home to Virginia and my grandparents head back to Wisconsin after being here for the holidays, my mom and them came up to Blackfoot for one last visit. It was so fun to be with them all. We had a great time. Ate delicious monkey bread and homemade icecream. Had a fabulous kid free dinner at Texas Roadhouse (thanks Mateo!) and got to take poor little Ada to the doctors office. We hope you're doing better Ada and Mel we loved having you and Callie here!! I just hate that this is the ONLY picture I took for the 3 days you were here. Anyway, we love our family and love it when they come and visit!

The things we do...

Marin is her father's daughter... I asked her to help

me the other day by feeding Macey... but I hear her playing

with Jace in the other room a few minutes later and wonder

how she could have fed Mace so fast... Now I see... Remember the

bottle holder people from back in the day of Mateo trying to

study while also being a stay at home dad(in the evenings)

at the same time? Instead of a hanger, she used what

was avaliable to her, but still, same concept!

Merry Christmas, Baby!

We had a wonderful holiday season. Christmas Eve with the Montano's and Christmas Day with the Rice's. We spent New Years up in Idaho and just love this time of year. It's a little hectic with all the traveling, but we wouldn't trade it. We love being able to see everyone and can't wait till next year!
