We started the Easter weekend off with a bang! Friday night we ate at one of my new all time favorite places... and when there, do not forget to order the mango passion fruit drink... (heaven!)
We then headed off for an event I have had tickets for for ALMOST a year! Wicked finally came to SLC and there are no words... seriously, NO WORDS. I loved every second of it!

Seeing musicals like this make me wish so badly I was born with some musical talent. I would play the character of Glinda in a heartbeat! Matt and I had a great time.
The kids got to hang out at Gma and Gpa Rice's. The had so much fun. Here is Jace on "the naughty pony", Callie...

And of course Saturday we colored the beloved Easter Eggs!
Aunt Candela and Uncle Chris were there and brought some DELICIOUS chocolate eggs they had hand made! They were an Easter tradition for Candela growing up!

The Eggs! We all commented easter eggs sure have come a long way in the Rice household since when we colored them as kids... using crayons and food coloring... not these little coloring kits complete with glitter and foil!

And how she spent most of her Easter Weekend! Except for the night we went to Wicked. Apprarently she's a bit attached... she cried a lot for my mom... sorry mom! I hope she does better in a few weeks for Moab!

Wow you guys fit a lot of fun into a couple of days! I am so glad you loved Wicked. Isn't it the best? Your parents house is Allies dream home. She'd move right in. Maceys pictures are so darling! She's growing so fast.

I'm glad you had a fun time. We missed you for lunch. My friend went to wicked on Saturday night. Maybe I should look into watching musicals. I"ve packed a few boxes!! Do you know anything yet?

I'm jealous you guys went to Benihana and I went to al Forno just because I like Japanese food A WHOLE LOT!! Wicked was great wasn't it?!! Your Easter eggs are very professional looking. Oh, and I passed Craig out running the other day. He's pretty fast.
Man, Benihana and Wicked...that's pretty much the best weekend ever! Isn't Wicked just the best musical ever written? Macey looks so cute and Marin has such a grown up pose, I love it. Yes - We should totally go to Hannah with the girls. I'll e-mail you.
What a fun weekend!!! I wish I went to Wicked.. I bet it was amazing. Ya I think that Saddie and Marin would like it for sure! Its a cute show, clean and stuff too. I move home in 2 weeks so maybe I'll come too:)

OK, so we have a setting on our computer that disables the auto flash player start thing. So, I had no idea until now that every time someone looked at our blog, Chicken Fried played first. It was supposed to be on auto shuffle, so now, it's fixed. And oh yes, I do like the song, it's a great running tune as well! Good job with the running! I'm gearing up for 20 this Sat.!

Oh yeah, and remember that time Chris made Marin cry when he told her she couldn't color "those" eggs, because those were "our" eggs. Ha ha, yeah. that was funny.
