Potters Pond...

So this August we went camping with the Rice's up Fairview Canyon to a place called Potters Pond. It was a much needed rest (can camping be called rest?!? soooo much work isn't it?!) and a good time with family.

Uncle Craig had been home for almost 2 weeks from his mission and boy are we glad he's back!

Grandma and Grandpa brought the horses...

And the canoe for some fishing. At first Marin, Jace and Macey were VERY afraid of how tipsy it was, but soon got used to it and loved going out fishing in it...

There were lots of gophers around and so gopher hunting was a fun adventure...

Target practice was also a fave...

This is Macey's true love Stormy. She kept telling Matt to "get off Daddy." It was pretty cute!

While the kids fished Macey liked catching dragon flies... yes, she actually picked them up!

And they did catch fish and ate them that night. Fried em up on the fire... It was a fun trip!
